This is a picture of the initial design for my speaker bracket.
This is a picture of it generated in Inventor. However, I figured out that this design would work in theory but we were limited by the size of the equipment so much so that it would not work. So i needed to come up with a new design.
This is a picture of the new design.
This is what is looked like in Inventor.
Here is a picture of my new design in the Makerbot preview page.
this picture shows the approximate time it will take to print it out.
Print #1 in progress
this is a picture of my failed 1st attempt because the print exploded in the middle of the cycle.
Print #2 in progress
Picture of Final print result.
Summery paragraph:
The issue needing to be solved was to make a speaker mount for the class room speakers because the original design was beginning to fail. It was up to the class to rectify the problem. My 1st idea was not a success because it would be too small to get the speaker on it. So I came up with a redesign that would work better since they work in pairs instead of one huge piece. The 1st print of that design was a fail because the print exploded and was unusable. Then I started an other print to complete the project and have a final product to show at the end. Something I learned from this assignment is that you will not always get it right the 1st time. It takes time to perfect something especially something of this magnitude.
